For 16 years, the annual Good Friday Walk, sponsored by the Dallas Area Christian Progressive Alliance (DACPA), elevated the teachings of Jesus on the day of his death. We welcomed immigrants, reflected on the struggles of the hungry and the sick, and promoted a society focused on justice and mercy (Matthew 23:23-24).
The pandemic ended this Holy Week ritual, but it is possible it may return in some form in the future.
